Our client: Barnes Distribution; a subsidiary of Barnes Group, Inc is looking to hire Application Development Project Lead. This is a full-time permanent role in Cleveland, Ohio. We are looking for US Citizenship, Green Card and valid H1-B visa. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
NOTE: This is a full-time permanent role in Cleveland, Ohio. Candidates interested in this role will have to relocate to or near Cleveland, Ohio for this opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with the department users and developing system and process flows to ensure optimum and efficient processing of transactions that meet the project objectives and user requirements
Preparing project work plans, programming specifications, and detailing design documents for large, complex programming projects.
Overseeing the timely completion of assignments, supervising other developers or outside contractors on large projects, and keeping management informed of project progress and problems, particularly as to needed changes in schedule, resources, and detail designs.
Developing, organizing and executing system test plans and evaluating the results of the program and procedure tests.
Assisting in the preparation of system documentation and the training of the users.
Performing the ongoing maintenance of the designated business systems within the area assigned.
Assisting in the establishment of standards and controls within the IS department.
Assisting in the review and testing of other developers programs, and training them on state of the art programming techniques.
Requirements:
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate must have minimum 8 years’ experience working with visual studio 2010, particularly with and C#.NET
The ideal candidate must be well versed with SharePoint.
The ideal candidate must have experience previous experience developing e-commerce applications.
The ideal candidate must have experience with SQL Server 2005 and 2008
The ideal candidate must have 4 years’ BS Degree
Must have experience managing large size development projects.
Proficiency in application integration technologies and change management utilizing Team Foundations Server, MS Visual Studio, IIS, Windows Server 2003 & 2008, Biz-Talk, and Web Services.
Understanding of Web development techniques and languages including XML, HTML, XSL, and XSLT
Knowledge of business processes, Lean process improvement techniques, and process flowcharting.
Knowledge of Commerce Systems, SharePoint, Mobile Application Development, and wireless handheld order processing.
In depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies used to augment the transactional ERP systems processing in the distribution industry.
